In 1986 I crossed paths with Andy and we roomed together for a short time while he was on a spiritual sabbatical in Texas. I started a blog to journal the memories I share with Andy from that time.

Kurt Cobain Blog

I was asking about the 'brigade' of musicians Andy associated with in Seattle. I was introduced to several of them on the telephone including Layne Stanley. I asked to meet someone who was 'gay-friendly.'  When Andy asked me my motive - I told him felt it was a mark of courage to stand your ground against the opinion of others. Andy asked around and one evening he introduced me to a young 19 year old whose name was Kurt Cobain.  We continued a long distance telephone friendship up until 1994. I started a blog to journal the memories of conversations I shared with Kurt
